Copy the three key principles on Darwin and Wallace theory of evolution.

The principle of variation: Random changes in the characterisitics of individuals are being constantly produced in all the population.

The principle of heredity: The individuals of a species are like their progenitors as they inherit their characteristics.

The principle of selection: The environment will select those individuals which accumulate the adventageous variations. By means of heredity, these variations will be extended among the population for successive generation, producing changes in the populations.

Bimonthly project

Take out your camera and start photographing your environment. All you need is to take pictures of 2 plants and two animals. Look out for their scientific names, and attach their names with their pictures in Liceo Bio wall.

P.S. Remember that once an animal or plant is posted, no one can post the same.

Homework for 1 "B" and 1"A"

Watch the 3 videos, and write in your notebook a description of the ecosytems (half a page each).

The notebooks are going to be checked on friday the 11th. Include the heading, name of the ecosystem, and the summary. The noteboks for 1 "A" are going to be checked on tuesday the 15th.

Assignement 2. Watch the video on biodiversity and list all the ecosystems mentioned in it. In your notebook write definitions of all the ecosystems. You can use your dictionary:)

Extra points: Tell me what happens if some of the animals start to disappear. . . post your answer
